About the role

As a Business Director you will be collaborating with forward-looking decision makers and organisations to redefine business with data & AI. Our team focuses on large enterprises and mid-size companies in the energy, industrial, construction, transport and telecom sectors. Currently we’re growing particularly among the industrial partners and seek to strengthen our capabilities there. 

The Business Director builds strategic client relationships, drives profitable growth in own account portfolio, leads their account teams for successful outcomes, and provides domain-specific insights for our experts. Acting as the primary client contact and trusted advisor, the role connects client needs with Futurice capabilities, driving profitable growth, high client satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.

These skills and experiences will give you good grounds for success:

• Experience in the industrial sector, especially manufacturing, and understanding of how companies in areas such as energy, industrial production, construction, transport, and telecom need to evolve in the current market and economic conditions.

• Several years of experience in developing and managing client relationships  

• Past experience from strategy and/or digital consulting or working closely with consultants

• Curiosity towards the new and humbleness to learn with peers

• Ability to lead yourself systematically and tolerate ambiguity at times

• Fluent business English and Finnish. Swedish is of benefit as we expand in the Nordics

The position is permanent and full-time, and can be based in either Helsinki or Tampere. We work flexibly in a hybrid model, but the role requires regular presence at your home office location as well as some travel within Finland & Sweden.

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive and advance in their career and become better versions of themselves.

During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
