About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our growing team of data and AI professionals. In this role, you'll help our clients solve real-world problems by designing and building AI-powered solutions that drive meaningful outcomes. You’ll work hands-on with machine learning, generative AI and cloud platforms—developing impactful applications across industries like energy, manufacturing, retail, health, mobility and more.

As a senior team member, you'll also mentor others, contribute to our AI strategy and practices, and play a key role in shaping how we work with AI in a responsible and ethical way.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop and deploy production-grade AI and machine learning solutions, including generative AI applications (leveraging LLMs and multimodal foundation models)

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with designers, developers, and domain experts

• Contribute to client workshops and technical discovery sessions

• Build, deploy and operate reliable production pipelines for AI solutions, software engineering practices based on the context

• Leverage cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Continuously improve how we use and implement AI in a sustainable and ethical way

• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices and learnings within the team

What we hope you bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI, ML engineering or applied data-intensive systems, including taking solutions from idea to production

• Strong Python skills, with experience building maintainable, production-quality code and working with APIs, data processing and backend-style systems

• Experience with modern data, ML and GenAI libraries and tools, such as NumPy, Pandas, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar (Deep expertise in any single framework is not required but we value the ability to apply the right tools pragmatically)

• Understanding of agentic LLM architectures and patterns, including concepts like tool use, orchestration, evaluation and iterative reasoning (Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK or similar is a plus, but not a requirement)

• Understanding of data engineering pipelines and APIs

• Experience deploying AI or ML solutions into production environments, including considerations around reliability, monitoring, iteration and lifecycle management

• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)

• A curiosity-driven approach and a desire to stay current with AI trends and practices

• Fluent professional English; Finnish skills are a strong advantage, combined with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and confidence working directly with clients

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.

   A deep dive into your skills with two of our data consultants. We’ll review your problem-solving approach and skills.

3. Role, expectations & projects interview (60 min, Live or Google Meet)
   A conversation focusing on your potential role, expectations, and upcoming projects. This interview is typically with your potential supervisor and a Principal-level team member.

Reference calls are also a standard part of our recruitment process.
