About the role
We are looking for a data-driven (Junior) BI Analyst & Report Developer to help us turn raw data into actionable stories. You will be a key player in our reporting ecosystem, working primarily with Power BI and Salesforce Analytics Studio as part of our internal operations team, closely collaborating with Futurice’s business units and leadership.
With plenty of guidance and support, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills over time. And for those interested, the role offers a natural path toward a more client-facing consultant position in the future.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 1–3 years of experience who is proficient in SQL and Power BI and is looking to expand their expertise into cloud data tools like Databricks and AWS.
This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, based in Helsinki. While we work in a hybrid model, we expect you to join us in the Helsinki office regularly, as close collaboration is an important part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development: Build, further develop and maintain user-friendly dashboards in Power BI and Salesforce Analytics Studio that provide business critical insights to Futurice business units and leadership.
Data Prep: Use SQL to clean and organize data from various sources to ensure reports are accurate and up-to-date.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, measures, and dashboard logic.
Automation: Set up basic Power Automate flows to handle data alerts and automate repetitive reporting tasks.
Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of support for internal dashboard users, fixing data discrepancies and updating visualizations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to translate business requests and insights needs into technical requirements.
Required Technical Skills:
Power BI Fundamentals: Ability to build reports, use Power Query, and write basic to intermediate DAX.
SQL: Solid ability to write queries (Select, Join, Group By) to pull data independently.
Logic & Automation: A "builder" mindset—experience with or a strong interest in learning Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Preferred (Growth Opportunities):
Salesforce Exposure: Familiarity with Salesforce data and/or experience building basic reports in Analytics Studio (CRMA).
Python: Basic scripting for data tasks.
Databricks: Basics.
Data Visualization: An eye for clean, modern design and UX in dashboards. Detail oriented.
Business Understanding: As you become more experienced, you are expected to be able to proactively spot data issues, spar advanced use cases with business stakeholders, contributing to business insights from the data.
Professional Profile:
1–3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
Analytical Mindset: The ability to look at a dataset and understand how to structure it to answer specific business questions.
A proactive learner who isn't afraid to dive into new software.
Strong communication in English (Finnish is considered as a plus)
Futurice offers you
An environment supported by the team that encourages continuous learning through meaningful internal work, modern tools, and shared ways of working. As part of your success path, we don’t expect you to be an expert in everything on day one. You’ll be mentored to gradually build your expertise — starting with mastering Salesforce Analytics Studio and its integration with CRM data.
You’ll receive a structured onboarding, both locally and globally, along with ongoing support from your own Futubuddy. Learning is embedded in everyday work through internal communities, knowledge sharing, and development programs that support your growth over time.
Compensation
Our salary model is designed to offer a fair and transparent range based on three factors: skills, responsibilities, and the impact you bring to your team and the wider company. We aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to grow, develop their craft, and become the best version of themselves.
For this role, the on-target monthly compensation typically ranges from 3000 to 4000 €, depending on experience and demonstrated capability within the level.
