We are now looking for a Principal, Strategy & Renewal, who will act as the Service Area Lead for our Strategic Planning in the AI Era offering within the Strategy & Renewal Service Line.
This is not only a senior consulting role. It is a business leadership role with end-to-end ownership of a strategically critical service area.

About the role
As a Principal, Strategy & Renewal, you work at the intersection of executive strategy consulting, AI-enabled transformation, business development, and internal leadership. In addition to hands-on consulting work with clients, the role requires active involvement in sales, shaping opportunities, and contributing to internal development and leadership within the service line.
In client work, you help organizations to lead an AI transformation by designing the strategies, building an impactful business, and co-developing effective and sustainable operating models and the capabilities. Your work typically begins by understanding the client’s current state, defining an ambitious yet realistic target state, and creating a feasible AI strategy and /or roadmap for what AI means for our customers' business. You act as a trusted advisor to senior C-level stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary teams.
In this role, responsibilities and opportunities are broad and include, among others:
Developing, owning and growing the strategy services offering within the Strategy & Renewal Service Line, including go-to-market, end-to-end ownership and service revenue growth
Taking lead responsibility within the Strategy & Renewal service line, including people leadership and line management
Driving strategic sales, especially related to visioning how AI transforms our customers business, AI strategy, emerging technologies and technology-driven business transformation
Working primarily with C-level executives as a trusted strategic partner
Building data- and AI-enabled services that fundamentally change how management consulting is done
Applying the traditional strategy consulting toolkit and augmenting it with data and AI, acting as a delivery lead and leading multidisciplinary teams in these engagements
Our client base spans many of Finland’s largest companies across diverse industries offering a wide variety of impactful and high-level strategic projects. Your home base will be Helsinki or Tampere, with a flexible hybrid setup and some travel to client sites when needed.

You don’t need to master all of these areas, but we expect you to feel comfortable taking a leading role across several of them.
What helps you succeed
7–10+ years of experience in management consulting or in a senior in-house role driving digital, technology, data or AI strategy
Proven ability to develop a strategy service offering end-to-end: offering development, go-to-market, and full ownership of growth and revenue impact
Experience taking lead responsibility for a strategy offering within a service line, including people leadership and line management
Strong sales capability in strategic services, especially around AI strategy and business transformation driven by emerging technologies (opportunity shaping, proposals, executive storytelling)
Confidence working with C-level stakeholders: advisory presence, stakeholder management, and facilitating executive-level decision making
Ability to combine a strong “classic” strategy consulting toolkit (problem structuring, business case thinking, operating model work, roadmapping) with the ability to augment it with data and AI to drive better outcomes
Capability and curiosity to build data- and AI-enabled strategy services that meaningfully evolve how management consulting is delivered (methods, tools, accelerators, reusable assets)
Strong storytelling and PowerPoint skills — you can turn complex topics into clear, compelling executive-level narratives
Solid experience designing and facilitating workshops that bring structure, clarity, and alignment
Experience acting as a delivery lead, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring quality and outcomes
A relevant university degree (business, technology, industrial engineering, etc.)
Familiarity with business design, service design, lean startup or agile approaches is a plus
Strong communication skills in English and Finnish
You are structured, curious and comfortable with complexity. You enjoy working closely with clients, can confidently engage with senior stakeholders, and are motivated by building both client impact and internal capabilities.

Compensation
Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
