About the role

Are you a senior full-stack developer or hands-on tech lead ready to grow into a broader strategic role – or already operating in one? We are looking for a Tech Principal with strong technical roots to help steer the future of our key portfolio areas and ensure our clients’ needs and our technology competence development are aligned. 

It’s a hybrid role that pairs strong hands-on capabilities with a proactive role in business development. We’re seeking someone who not only delivers top-tier technical solutions but is also eager to support and actively participate in the sales process. Experience in a consulting environment is a strong advantage.

As a Tech Principal, you play a central role in driving business development and making sure our full cross-competence offering – tech, design, data & advisory – is actively leveraged in portfolio growth. You act as a trusted advisor to key account leads, internal teams, and clients, helping them make sound architectural and technological decisions.

You have a wide understanding of modern front-end and backend frameworks, cloud ecosystems, and AI – and know how to apply that knowledge in real-world projects. You've built and scaled customer-facing digital products such as web portals, mobile apps, and eCommerce platforms, and helped define the technology strategy behind them. You’re comfortable navigating both technical depth and big-picture thinking, and you enjoy solving challenges with others across disciplines. Valuing and actively engaging in effective communication, you possess at least fluency in English, with Finnish being a significant advantage.

In this role, it's especially valuable if you understand and can guide others around topics such as:

• Architecture of SPA websites in AWS/Azure environments
• When and why to (not) use edge computing
• Headless CMS solutions and their trade-offs
• CIAM and IdP federation
• Off-the-shelf vs. custom-built solutions
• Choosing and reasoning around web development frameworks (e.g., SSR vs. static site delivery)
• Recognizing software architecture patterns and leveraging them to inform design

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
