About the role
We’re looking for Technology Advisor to join our Strategy & Renewal team and become the best friend for our clients’ Chief Technology Officers. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic view on technology and who thrives at the intersection of business and technology.
As a Technology Advisor at Futurice, you’ll play a critical role in both client delivery and business development. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technology strategies, analyze clients’ technology capabilities, and design modern technology architectures that support our clients’ strategic goals. We hope that you are passionate about new technologies, but are able to turn the discussions into business value rather than technical details.
In addition to working hands-on with our clients, you will be part of building Futurice’s internal capabilities and offering. Your contribution will influence how we position ourselves in strategic digital transformation initiatives, where technology should be the enabler for business growth.

Your daily work may include:
Being the technology expert in our strategic consulting engagements, from current state analysis to target state definition to transformation planning
Collaborating with developers, designers, and strategists to bridge the gap between customers, business and technology
Supporting sales and early-stage client discussions with technological insights and solution framing
Participating to define Futurice Technology Advisory related offering
We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have 5-10 years experience on digital/technology/data strategies and architectures, with the ability to translate business goals into architectural blueprints or technology recommendations
Preferably, have consulting experience since then you most likely have exposed to fast-paced project delivery, have seen many different types of (client) environments and know how to communicate complex things clearly with PowerPoint to C-level executives
Are familiar with modern technologies e.g. AI, data, cloud, APIs and other integration technologies and enterprise systems
Are comfortable working across agile teams, stakeholders and C-level to facilitate alignment and drive outcomes
Have experience in technology strategy, transformation programs, or large-scale architecture planning and can move from strategy into hands-on execution
Are able to bring domain experience from one or more of the following sectors: public, health, or transport and can confidently navigate their operational, technical and regulatory complexities. If not, no worries - we also have demand in other sectors
Enjoy working in sales, pre-studies, RFP support or advisory roles
Enjoy the variety of fast-paced, multifaceted projects as many of our projects are 6-10 week advisory engagements rather than multi-year projects
Communicate clearly and confidently in English and Finnish
Value collaboration over silos, and curiosity over credentials

Compensation
Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.

After these conversations, we'll conduct reference calls. We believe this approach allows us to gain a holistic understanding of your potential and helps you envision yourself as part of the Futurice family.
