About the role
FutuCare is Futurice’s model for ensuring continuity, support and continuous development of in-production systems. It offers a 360 view to projects, technologies and architectural solutions developed by Futurice’s highly skilled teams in recent years. We have a team of over 60 people and we work in smaller teams of 4-8 people. FutuCare team operates globally, but team members are mainly from Helsinki and Tampere.

As a FutuCare Service Lead, your role consists of leading a team and its service portfolio, acting as a service facilitator towards clients and maintaining strong client relationships. The typical team consists of Service Lead and 4-8 developers, handling 3-6 maintenance/development projects together. With your team you actively identify how the solution could be improved and developed to provide our clients with best in class solutions and service maintainability.
Service Lead takes care of things like staffing, contracts and invoicing. You will also make sure our service quality and customer satisfaction are flourishing. The Service Lead works closely with our LiveOps and Service Desk, so a strong understanding of and experience with these functions is highly valuable. Depending on your background and desires, you may also participate in hands-on technical development activities together with your team, or participate in new customer sales or work as a consultant in customer projects to later onboard them seamlessly to FutuCare.

You have a strong desire to take a key role in the client interaction, facilitate our services and build long-lasting client relationships. Having a strong focus on team building, you have good team leading and prioritization skills. You dearly cherish good communication both with the team and the client. In addition, the recipe for success includes:
Prior experience of application life-cycle management
Understanding what it takes to develop and operate modern web/cloud-based in-production systems
Experience / understanding of ITIL
Value and practice good communication - you should be fluent in at least English and Finnish

Compensation
Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive and advance in their career and become better versions of themselves.
During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits. For this role, the on-target compensation varies between 3528-6054€ on a monthly basis depending on the career level.
