About the role

We’re looking for a Strategic and/or Design Consultant to join our Futurice team in Germany. You’ll take ownership of product and design workstreams, drive collaboration in cross-functional teams from tech, design, data and business, and help clients move their digital products forward. You love to be entrepreneurial and build long lasting relationships driven by curiosity and new technologies, this is the place for you.

You’ll work closely with clients in industries such as automotive, energy, aerospace and machinery, creating solutions that are both user-centered and business-relevant. You’ll also explore and apply AI tools as critical sparring partner and co-creator in your value creation process, finding smarter ways to deliver impact.

This role is about combining craft, consultancy, and curiosity: you’ll shape high-quality digital experiences, guide client discussions, and support your clients and teammates in reaching common goals. What you will do 

• Lead product and service workstreams within design and consulting projects, ensuring creative client-centric thinking and on-time, high-quality delivery.
  
  
• Drive the exploration and definition of opportunities across AI discovery, global collaboration, service/product portfolio strategies, foresighting and team culture -translating insights into actionable strategies, concepts, journeys, business models and service blueprints
  
  
• Shape and facilitate service vision, product and design sprints as well as workshops to align cross-functional teams, accelerate innovation, and shape shared understanding of complex challenges
  
  
• Conduct data-driven research and support usability testing to turn findings into actionable product and service improvements
  
  
• Contribute to journeys and design systems as well as accessibility practices across solutions. Use data and external insights to help your team taking the right decision.
  
  
• Communicate with impact: present concepts, ideas, and rationale confidently to senior stakeholders in German and English to both clients and colleagues. You will also be part of pitches and sales conversations with potential new clients.
  
  
• Bring consultancy mindset: identify client challenges, help them taking the right decisions, align solutions with business goals, and build trust with senior stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to build a network at your client and beyond.
  
  
• Ensure consistent digital and design standards, and supports efficient collaboration and knowledge exchange across global teams and initiativ
  
  
• Participate in networking and community events in order to discover your next potential client

What you bring  

• 2–4 years of experience in Digital Consultancy, Product Management or Service and Strategic Design, ideally across projects involving transformation, digital product / service strategies, innovation or new business exploration.
  
  
• A strategic, systems-level mindset with the ability to zoom between big-picture opportunity framing and actionable design decisions
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to work in complex product and service ecosystems, connecting insights, user needs, technology, and business goals into coherent concepts, strategies, and roadmaps
  
  
• Product understanding or product management experience -comfortable thinking in hypotheses, value propositions, MVP scope, success metrics, and iterative delivery
  
  
• Strong skills in research, synthesis, concept creation and digital concept development, and the ability to translate findings into strategic recommendations and tangible service or product improvements
  
  
• Proficiency in Figma, Miro and PPT as well as modern prototyping or visualization tools, used to communicate ideas clearly at different levels of fidelity
  
  
• Interest in data-driven foresighting, futures thinking and digital business models
  
  
• Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools for ideation, insight generation, prototyping, or validation
  
  
• Good knowledge of digital technologies, design systems, accessibility principles, and scalable digital service practices
  
  
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; fluent in German and English, able to align stakeholders and communicate design rationale with clarity and confidence
  
  
• Interest or experience in sectors undergoing digital transformation such as mobility, automotive innovation, energy transition, or connected services
  
  
• Motivated to contribute to the local community by organizing meetups, representing Futurice at industry events and being part of the office crew

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive and advance in their career and become better versions of themselves.

During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
