About the role
As a Strategy Consultant, you help organizations discover new growth opportunities, build new digital businesses, and become more innovative, efficient, customer-centric and data-enabled. Your work typically begins by understanding the client’s current state, defining an ambitious yet realistic target state, and creating a feasible roadmap supported by business case thinking. You often lead or work within a multidisciplinary team and act as a trusted advisor to senior C-level stakeholders.
Our client base spans many of Finland’s largest companies across diverse industries — meaning you’ll have the chance to work on a wide variety of impactful strategic projects. Your home base will be Helsinki or Tampere, with a flexible hybrid setup and some travel to client sites when needed.
Our team & typical project topics
We’re a tech-native, people-centric, outcome-driven strategic advisory team. Our projects blend business and technology, and commonly include:
Digital, data, technology & AI strategies
Operating model renewals
Transformation planning and management
Digital business model creation and venture creation
AI and data opportunity identification and value assessments
Enterprise architecture & capability development
You don’t need to master all of these areas but we hope they spark your interest.
What helps you succeed
We are open to different seniority levels and may hire more than one person.
~3–10 years of experience in management consulting or driving digital/AI strategy in-house (we can tailor the position based on your seniority)
Ability to work at the intersection of business and technology
Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to turn complex insights into clear, compelling presentations
Experience designing and facilitating workshops that bring structure, clarity, and alignment
Ability to lead projects and small teams
A relevant university degree (business, tech, industrial engineering, etc.)
Strong consulting toolkit: structuring problems, analyzing data, and communicating insights
Familiarity with business design methods, service design, lean startup, or agile approaches is a plus
Experience in sales, proposals or early-phase opportunity shaping is an advantage
You are curious, structured, and comfortable solving complex problems. You enjoy client collaboration, can hold your ground in challenging stakeholder situations, and use strong communication and facilitation skills to create clarity.
Futurice offers you
We support your growth with a wide range of projects, tools, and learning opportunities. Our client portfolio is diverse, offering a variety of challenges and problem spaces that give you room to explore new areas and develop your skills in meaningful ways. Perks include:
A hybrid work model that supports flexibility and collaboration
Free choice of work gear — laptop, phone, tablet, headphones, and more
Sports and lunch benefit
Comprehensive healthcare and additional health insurance
Futurice clubs and free-time activity groups
Learning events and internal communities

Compensation
Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive and advance in their career and become better versions of themselves.
During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
