About the role
The VP, Strategy & Transformation leads Futurice Germany’s strategy and transformation service line in the region. This role helps clients make sense of complexity and turn strategic ambition into concrete action. It combines business strategy, transformation leadership, and technology understanding to shape long-term direction, guide large change initiatives, and ensure strategies are executable in practice.
Key Responsibilities
Service Line Leadership
Shape and evolve strategy and transformation offerings that address business renewal, AI-enabled strategy, operating model change, and capability building.
Ensure the service line has a clear point of view on how strategy translates into execution.
Work closely with group service lines to align methods, narratives, and capabilities.
Client Impact and Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on strategy, transformation, and long-term value creation.
Lead complex strategy and transformation engagements, from problem framing to roadmap definition and change activation.
Help clients connect technology, data, and people decisions to measurable outcomes.
Leadership and Collaboration
Lead multidisciplinary teams across strategy, design, data, and technology.
Collaborate closely with domain leads and account teams to embed strategy work into broader client journeys.
Contribute to Futurice’s overall strategic direction and thought leadership.
Thought Leadership and Growth
Develop and communicate clear perspectives on strategy in the AI era.
Support sales and business development by shaping compelling transformation narratives.
Represent Futurice externally through speaking, writing, and client conversations.
Desired Background and Skills
Extensive experience in business strategy, transformation, or management consulting, ideally across multiple industries.
Proven track record of leading complex strategy or transformation engagements from problem framing through execution and change activation.
Strong understanding of how technology, data, and AI influence business models, operating models, and competitive advantage.
Experience designing strategy roadmaps that connect long-term ambition with near-term execution.
Ability to work across ambiguity, helping clients clarify priorities and make confident decisions under uncertainty.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience advising executive and board-level leaders.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, design, data, and technology.
Comfort translating strategic intent into practical initiatives, governance models, and ways of working.
Understanding of organizational change, capability building, and transformation at scale.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to lead workshops, executive discussions, and alignment sessions.
Curiosity about emerging technologies and societal shifts, and how they reshape strategy and leadership.

Compensation
Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities, and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive, advance their career, and become better versions of themselves.
We will discuss the salary range for this position as well as our complete compensation package during the initial interview round. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
