About the role
The VP, Next Generation Value Stream leads a service line focused on redesigning and improving how work gets done. This role helps organizations rethink core value streams and workflows using AI, data, and automation to achieve better speed, quality, and outcomes. The focus is on practical impact, not technology for its own sake.
For this role German language skills of minimum level C1 and fluency in English are necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Service Line Leadership
Shape and grow services centered on value stream transformation, intelligent workflows, and AI-enabled automation.
Build a clear narrative around how AI and technology can augment human work and business processes.
Align regional delivery with group-level approaches to AI and workflow transformation.
Client Impact and Delivery
Lead engagements that diagnose, redesign, and improve end-to-end value streams.
Help clients move from fragmented processes to coherent, data-driven, and automated workflows.
Ensure solutions are grounded in real operational needs and measurable improvements.
Leadership and Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams spanning business design, process engineering, data, and technology.
Work closely with domain leads and account teams to integrate workflow transformation into larger programs.
Encourage experimentation, learning, and iteration in how value streams are improved.
Thought Leadership and Growth
Develop Futurice’s perspective on AI-enabled workflows and next-generation operating models.
Support sales and go-to-market efforts with concrete examples of value creation.
Represent the service line in client forums and external discussions.
Desired Background and Skills
Strong background in operations transformation, value stream redesign, process engineering, or digital transformation.
Hands-on experience applying AI, data, and automation to improve real business workflows and outcomes.
Ability to analyze end-to-end value streams and identify where redesign, orchestration, or automation creates the most impact.
Experience working with cross-functional teams spanning business, process, data, and engineering roles.
Comfort operating at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution.
Experience leading complex delivery programs that require iteration, experimentation, and learning.
Pragmatic mindset with a bias toward measurable impact rather than theoretical optimization.
Strong communication skills, able to explain complex systems and workflows in clear, practical terms.
Interest in how AI augments human work and reshapes operating models and organizations.

Compensation
Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities, and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive, advance their career, and become better versions of themselves.
We will discuss the salary range for this position as well as our complete compensation package during the initial interview round. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
