About the role
What if the summer of 2026 became the turning point in launching your career as a Summer Trainee in FutuCare team, Managed Services unit? We’re looking for two Summer Trainees to join our FutuCare LiveOps team!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience in ensuring the continuity and development of live systems and platforms, all while working alongside a supportive and skilled team.
📍This position is located in Helsinki or Tampere.
Our FutuCare Managed Services team consists of two functional areas:
DevOps, focused on application continuous development.
LiveOps, combining service desk, operations, and platform management.
What you’ll be doing
As a LiveOps Trainee, you’ll dive straight into the day-to-day of keeping modern digital services running smoothly. You’ll work alongside the team to monitor and maintain production environments, making sure everything stays stable and performant for the people using them.
At FutuCare, LiveOps is deeply connected to DevOps, so you’ll get to roll up your sleeves with infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines as part of your work. Your days will be a mix of solving technical puzzles, handling service tickets, and contributing to our internal development projects.
Most importantly, we’re all about the "helping a friend" mentality. Whether it’s tackling a tricky ticket together or building internal tools, you’ll be an essential part of a team that stays supportive and works as one.
What we hope you’ll bring with you:
A Full-stack mindset: You don’t need to be a master of everything yet, but you’re curious about how both the backend and frontend hum together.
Fluency in modern code: You feel comfortable with at least one common language (be it TypeScript, Python, C#, or something JVM-based) and have some experience with modern web frameworks.
Cloud curiosity: You have a basic grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). If terms like monitoring or incident management pique your interest, you'll fit right in with the FutuCare crew!
Data basics: You understand the fundamentals of how data is stored, whether it’s in relational or non-relational databases.
Ultimate adaptability: This is the big one! As a summer trainee, you’ll be the "multitool" in our pocket, helping out across various client projects. This means jumping into different tech stacks with an open mind and a passion for learning.
You have most of your relevant studies behind you and might be approaching graduation, or perhaps you are a career changer looking for a new path. You are a natural team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments, always contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence. With a genuine love for learning something new every day, you take full ownership of your tasks and are driven to achieve great outcomes. Additionally, you communicate fluently in both Finnish and English.
Most importantly, we value the social side of tech—we’re looking for someone who wants to grow, share knowledge, and have a good time with the team while doing it. While we encourage you to take initiative, you’ll never have to do it alone; our supportive team and inspiring work environment will always be there to guide you. Beyond gaining valuable experience, you’ll have the chance to network with our active international Slack community, participate in Futurice events, and enjoy a variety of company-provided benefits.
Can’t meet all of our hopes and dreams? Don't worry! What’s most important is your mindset: a willingness to learn, a service-oriented attitude, and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

— Milla Eerola, Software Developer
Don’t worry—we don’t expect you to know everything before starting. The most important thing is your willingness and ability to learn.

1️⃣ Always apply! Even if you don’t get hired, the application process is a valuable learning experience.
2️⃣ Showcase your projects, no matter how simple they are.
3️⃣ Don’t get discouraged. Landing a job can be tough, especially if it’s your first one.
