About the role
The VP, Service Line Leader for Platform & AI Modernization leads Futurice Nordic’s Platform & AI Modernization service line in the region. This role focuses on helping organizations build intelligent, connected, and adaptive technology foundations through modern data platforms, cloud strategies, enterprise architecture, and scalable technology ecosystems. The emphasis is on enabling organizations to move faster, make better decisions, and create real business value through robust digital foundations and AI-ready capabilities.
The role sits at the intersection of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud, data platforms, solution architecture, and AI enablement. You will help organizations design and evolve secure, scalable, sovereign, and resilient technology ecosystems that support innovation, operational excellence, and responsible AI adoption.
You will be part of the Nordic Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Service Line Leadership
Shape and evolve Futurice Nordic’s services around enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data platforms and governance, cloud strategy and implementation, sovereign cloud, platform ecosystems, and AI-ready technology foundations.
Define how enterprise platforms, modern data foundations, and architecture practices enable responsible, scalable, and business-relevant AI adoption.
Ensure a strong point of view on enterprise architecture, data governance, platform ecosystems, sovereign cloud, AI enablement, technology resilience, interoperability, and sustainable technology foundations.
Align regional offerings with group-level platform, data, AI, cloud, and engineering capabilities.
Build and continuously develop the service line’s market relevance, delivery quality, commercial impact, and talent base.
Client Impact and Delivery
Lead strategic platform, cloud, data, and architecture engagements that help clients connect technology investments to business outcomes, enterprise adaptability, and AI readiness.
Help clients design and implement modern data platforms, cloud strategies, enterprise architectures, and scalable technology ecosystems that improve resilience, governance, interoperability, and speed of innovation.
Guide organizations in evolving their enterprise technology landscape through modern architecture principles, platform strategies, data governance, cloud adoption, and scalable integration approaches.
Translate business and technology needs into modernization roadmaps, platform strategies, architectural principles, and delivery models.
Support clients in integrating applications, data, and infrastructure to create a more connected enterprise and a stronger foundation for AI-enabled transformation.
Balance ambition with practicality, ensuring modernization initiatives are sustainable, responsible, and achievable within real organizational constraints.
Leadership and Collaboration
Member of the leadership team, responsible for driving and scaling the Nordic business and leading Nordic-level strategic initiatives.
Lead multidisciplinary teams across enterprise architecture, solution architecture, cloud, data, AI, engineering, and business transformation.
Work closely with domain, industry, and account teams to embed platform and AI modernization into broader business transformation initiatives.
Foster strong collaboration between technologists, data specialists, designers, strategists, and client stakeholders.
Support capability development across the region, helping teams grow their expertise in modern engineering, cloud platforms, AI foundations, and enterprise transformation.
Thought Leadership and Growth
Champion Futurice’s perspective on how modern technology foundations enable scalable, responsible, and value-creating AI.
Support sales and client growth by articulating the value of modernization in business terms: reduced complexity, faster change, better governance, improved resilience, and future-ready AI capability.
Contribute to external thought leadership through talks, writing, client conversations, partnerships, and community engagement.
Identify market trends and client needs around AI transformation, platform modernization, data foundations, cloud-native engineering, and sustainable technology.
Help position Futurice as a trusted partner for organizations modernizing their technology landscape from strategy to operations.
What helps you succeed in this role
Strong leadership background in technology consulting with expertise in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, cloud strategy, data platforms and governance, platform ecosystems, or AI-enabling enterprise technology.
Proven experience leading complex technology transformation initiatives in consulting or large organizational environments.
Solid understanding of how data, cloud, platforms, and modern engineering practices enable scalable and responsible AI adoption. Combined with experience with modern platform architectures, cloud-native development, data platforms, APIs, integration, DevOps, platform engineering, and secure software delivery.
Ability to connect technology strategy with business value, organizational change, operating models, and measurable outcomes.
Familiarity with enterprise technology evolution, including architecture renewal, cloud transformation, platform ecosystems, systems integration, interoperability, and scalable technology governance.
Understanding of governance, security, compliance, resilience, and sustainability considerations in modern technology landscapes.
Experience working with cross-functional teams that combine strategy, architecture, engineering, data, AI, design, and operations.
Strong client advisory skills, with the ability to engage senior technology and business stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business leaders.
Commercial mindset with the ability to connect client needs, value creation, delivery outcomes, and scalable service development.
Ability to balance long-term modernization ambition with delivery realities, making thoughtful trade-offs between speed, risk, cost, and future flexibility.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to explain complex technology, data, and AI concepts in clear, business-relevant language.
Curiosity and learning mindset, with a strong interest in emerging technologies, AI-native operating models, sustainable technology, and the future of enterprise platforms.

Compensation
Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive and advance in their career and become better versions of themselves.
During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
