About the role

The Finance Business Controller serves as a financial partner to the Regional Leadership, ensuring sound financial management and driving business performance. The role acts as a strategic co-pilot to the Regional Managing Director, providing the data, analysis, and insights required to support profitable growth and operational excellence.

This position is the bridge between the global finance function and regional business and finance operations. The Finance Partner is responsible for translating financial data into actionable recommendations, translating strategic goals into financial targets, providing forward-looking analysis, reviewing business performance and providing decision support.

Key Responsibilities:

In this position you will

• Partner with the Regional Managing Director and regional leadership team by providing proactive financial business intelligence, decision support and strategic advice.

• Do scenario modeling to simulate the impact of different decisions and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

• Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as project profitability, sales pipeline, resource utilization, opex/capex optimization and client margins.

• Partner with the Regional Managing Director to co-lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews (MBR/QBR), presenting the financial narrative and driving accountability.

• Partner with sales and delivery teams to support pricing decisions and ensure the commercial viability of new engagements.

• Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the region in alignment with group objectives and requirements.

• Prepare insightful input to management reports and variance analyses for the Head of Finance and Group CFO.

• Partner with regional finance regarding regional financial processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition, Monthly/Annual Close, Tax Compliance etc), to ensure outputs are aligned with business context and reporting needs.

• Together with regional finance, champion the implementation of standardized end-to-end global financial and operational processes (e.g. quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, forecast-to-plan, capacity need-to-resource allocation, etc), tools (e.g. Salesforce, Certinia, etc), and KPIs within the region.

• Support the Head of Finance in driving efficiency and AI/automation initiatives, acting as a key user for new digital and AI-driven finance tools.

• Partner with the regional finance team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of local financial regulations, to ensure that all commercial advice and strategic recommendations are compliant.

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
